Shown here is a small fraction of the nearly 90 varieties of plums, pluots, apricots, peaches and nectarines offered at Andy's fruit tasting today. A crowd favorite was the Arctic Jay nectarine, though mine was the Snow Queen nectarine. Are the flavors of the fruit here better than what you'd find at Costco? Of course, much better, but what's fun is tasting the subtle differences in peaches or nectarines as you move from one to the next. There's a fruit picking tour, too, although Andy's doesn't usually have you-pick available. The fruit you take home is $2.75/lb. The tour today was $15 for adults and $12 for seniors.
