A local told me that Jade Restaurant likes to put its own spin on Chinese food. That's so true and they do it well. Whether it's a creation such as breen beans and dried shrimp (as in the photo) or fried rice made with wild rice, their food is often off the beaten path but they prepare it well. Dinner won't come cheap, especially for Richmond. The good stuff starts at about 25 Canadian dollars. We came in on a weeknight but still both the restaurant and its parking lot filled to capacity.
